Tanyawat Nuk Dilokkunanant

Tanyawat (Nuk) Dilokkunanant is a Thai clarinetist who has appeared across the United States, Europe, and Asia. His performances have been featured at festivals including ClarinetFest® 2026 in Incheon, ClarinetFest® 2024 in Dublin, and the 2025 Shanghai International Clarinet Festival. Since 2019, he has served as Associate Professor of Clarinet at the College of Music, Zhaoqing University in China.

As a chamber musician, he is a founding member of the Círculo Trio, an ensemble devoted to contemporary music and interdisciplinary collaboration. His recent work centers on commissioning new repertoire for clarinet, with a focus on Thai composers, bringing contemporary Thai music to wider international audiences.

He serves as Artistic Director of Learn with the Legends: Clarinethology and has been invited as a jury member for international competitions, including the 2026 International Clarinet Association Junior Young Artist Competition at ClarinetFest® 2026, the 2025 Shanghai International Clarinet Festival Competition, and the Thailand International Clarinet Competition 2023. He has also served as a faculty artist at the 2019 Thailand International Clarinet Academy.

Tanyawat holds degrees from Michigan State University, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and Chulalongkorn University. His principal teachers include Guy Yehuda, James Campbell, Yos Vaneesorn, and Wisanu Hothai.

When not teaching, performing, or planning the next musical adventure, he can often be found in a gym, a restaurant, a coffee shop, or an airport—sometimes all in the same day. Somewhere in between, he enjoys spending time with his wife, exploring new restaurants, cooking, roasting coffee, and convincing himself that one more episode before bed is a perfectly reasonable idea.
